For many overheated New Yorkers, there's no better way to escape the scorching summer temperatures than a weekend getaway to the Hamptons. Quiet, quaint and far away from the city's chaos – the Hamptons is the perfect location to recharge before facing another week of hustling. It was also the perfect setting for a Romio Expert Summer Weekend Getaway!
Inside a beautiful Dutch Colonial mansion in Bridgehampton, over 75 of NYC's Lifestyle Experts gathered to celebrate the soft launch of the new Romio platform. Attendees included Romio Experts Alexandra Machover, Céline of The Staycationers, Caleb Thill, among others. A handful of Romio Service Providers – whose services will be available to book when Romio officially launches this fall – also partook in the weekend of festivities, hosting classes and sessions showcasing their businesses from Friday to Sunday. Romio Experts arrived on Friday night and observed a VIP Cooking Experience led by Romio Service Provider, Will Lawrence, of Error! Hyperlink reference not valid. and partook in an Aperol Spritz Cocktail Class led by Romio Expert, Céline Bossart.
Romio Experts eased into Saturday morning with an invigorating yoga class taught by Romio Service Provider, Layne Averill, followed by a killer bootcamp led by Romio Expert, JR Allen. In the afternoon, guests arrived to join Romio Experts for a fun pool party celebration, which continued until nightfall.
On Sunday, Romio Experts enjoyed a custom scent-making class led by Romio Expert, Sue Phillips, of Scenterprises as well as a fresh floral crown making class led by our friends at Urbanstems. The weekend was just the beginning of many unique Romio events that bring together talented Romio Experts and top-notch Romio Service Providers. We can't wait to host more!
