Chris Budden Joins Romio as COO
Welcome to the Romio family, Chris Budden!
Chris Budden is kind of a local... everywhere. Just ask him and he'll give you an insider’s scoop on any one of the places he grew up: Tokyo, Melbourne, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Hong Kong. Now, he calls the New York City area home, where he lives with his wife and children. And yes – he can make some recommendations there, too!
Chris served most recently as a Group Account Director at Havas New York overseeing a portfolio of brands, most notably Dos Equis. He also managed teams at Grey, McCann and mcgarrybowen on several well-known brands like MasterCard, Verizon, Staples and more. He loves solving big problems and has a passion for collaborating and bringing impactful ideas to life. A former collegiate swimmer and tennis player, he now enjoys the occasional triathlon, going for a surf and spending time outside with his kids.
“I’m very excited to join the team at Romio,” says Chris. “Tarik Sansal’s vision for building a mobile platform to accelerate digital commerce, anchored in trust, is incredibly timely and appealing in today’s environment. With the support of the Board of Directors, he has put together an amazing product with a great core team and partners in place. We’re looking forward to making a real impact on the way people find and book local services.”
But, hey, this is Romio. Let’s ask the experts about Chris Budden.

His passion, knowledge and experience managing teams and advertising campaigns for some of the world’s most iconic brands will be a fundamental asset to Romio.
